Lately I have been lucky enough to work with some wonderful designers. Today I want you to meet Emily, the incredible designer behind Derng. Her love for chains is shared by numerous fashionistas. I don't think you can log in to any of the social media outlets without seeing numerous Derng features.

How did your jewelry line come about?
I started making jewelry as a teen then got away from it for a while, but decided to pick it back up when I saw there was a demand for fun, chain link and pave jewels!

Where do you find inspiration?
Everywhere! Mostly from regular people when I'm at Starbucks, or jogging in the park. Very rarely do I open a fashion magazine for inspiration. At that point, it's already been done.

What are some of your favorite pieces that you have designed?
Talley Blanc is a favorite as well as my new MAX collection. These are both statement pieces that are sure to get attention!

Who is the Derng girl?
I see the Derng girl as someone who is just like me; I'm fashionable, but in my own way. Of course I love desinger wear, but I have to mix it up with some vintage and inexpensive t shirts too! You'll always see me sporting at least 3 Derng bracelets.

What can we expect to see in the near future from Derng?
More statement pieces and more chain...Derng may get a little more colorful soon!
